Description
In my life, there have always been people who have either loved debating or thought it entirely unnecessary. Debates only work, in my opinion, if both sides of said point are open to heeding the counterparts opinions. Debates have been rampant throughout the media, social or otherwise, but healthy debates are a way to grow, to learn, and to accept the tried and true phrase, “we agree to disagree”. While this phrase may not be a solution, does all communication end in a solution? Does any communication end in a solution? Or, are we here, in the midst of a debate, simply to interact, socialize, and feel as though we can vocalize our thoughts and opinions. Usually, common ground will be found somewhere, no matter how small or how big. Embrace the middle when you can. Remember, yellow and blue make green, when they are close enough to each other.
