About Dani Fallon
I am an abstract painter and poet. Working in oil and watercolour my work speaks to the internal hardships and beauty of mental health whilst seeking inspiration from nature and its gentle lessons of hope.
My poetry is much of the same, driven by personal relationships and diving into social issues, my words and artwork are tied together. I find inspiration and creation in both language and color.
Embracing Obsession has been a passion project turned business since 2018. It all began, when I decided I would paint for 20 minutes a day. It didn’t matter I just had to sit with my paints, paintbrushes and brain for 20 minutes everyday. It became a beautiful form of self-meditation. When I create, my brain, the obsessive thoughts throughout my mind silence themselves and I can exit.
This has evolved into a beautiful business where I have had the opportunity grow and sit with my craft in a deeper more fulfilling way. I moved from oil painting, to watercolor, and finally fully embracing all of my art endeavors and incorporated my poetry.
I continue to show my work and perform my poetry at events across Long Island, NY.

Find Your/Self Boxes is a beautiful queer-owned self care box subscription company. I have the honor to have 2 of my prints “You Are Love” and “Do Not Fade” in their Self Care for Depression box.
